The event was attended by representatives of the Ministries of Investments and Foreign Trade, Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tashkent City Khokimiyat, large companies, members of the delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov.

According to Albert Karimov, in 2018 the trade turnover amounted to 145.7 million US dollars, which is three times more than in previous years. Uzbekistan and Tatarstan also have many untapped, promising opportunities. The current meeting will facilitate the implementation of new initiatives using these opportunities.

In the process of strengthening bilateral trade-economic relations, cooperation is envisaged in the oil and gas industry, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, automotive industry, tourism, mining and processing of natural resources, information technologies.

Within the framework of the roundtable discussion, First Deputy Khokim of Tashkent region Odilkhon Rustamov, First Deputy Minister of Health Bakhodir Nizomov, as well as representatives of such major companies as Uzbekneftegaz, Uzkimyosanoat, Uzavtosanoat, UzAutoTrailer, Eidos-Medicine, held negotiations with more than 10 large companies of Tatarstan, occupying a worthy place in the global market.

At B2B meeting, mutually beneficial agreements were reached.
