Uzbekistan, Tajikistan strengthen cooperation in healthcare

A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Blood Transfusion Station of Samarkand region and the Blood Transfusion Center of Tajikistan.

A group of medical workers led by the Chief Physician of the Blood Transfusion Station of Samarkand region Rofe Aliyev visited the Blood Transfusion Center of Tajikistan and got acquainted with the activities of the institution.

“At the present stage of the development of medicine, the importance of having a large supply of blood and its components in protecting the health of the population, preventing various diseases and providing medical care to patients in critical situations is increasing”, said R. Aliyev. – That is why advanced technologies are being introduced in the industry, working methods are changing.

We exchanged views and experiences with Tajik colleagues in this area. In some matters, we found it necessary to adopt their experience, and they liked our work in some areas. A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed with the Director of the Tajik center Aziz Odinazoda, which will contribute to strengthening joint activities.
