On October 12-19, 2021, Tajikistan hosted the regular meeting of working groups of government delegations of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Tajikistan in Joint Uzbekistan – Tajikistan Demarcation Commission, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

Demarcation activities on Uzbekistan – Tajikistan State borderline were discussed.

Technical documentation for the demarcation of Uzbekistan – Tajikistan State border was approved at the meeting.

A joint field visit to certain sections of Uzbekistan – Tajikistan State Border also took place.

The next meeting of the working groups is scheduled for the end of November 2021 in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Traditionally, the meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere.

Following the event, a Protocol was signed.
