International University of Humanities and Development (IUHD) hosts the Fourth Open Mathematical Olympiad among students of higher education institutions in Turkmenistan and abroad (OMOUS-2024).

More than 500 students from Uzbekistan, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, China, Bulgaria, Indonesia, and Turkmenistan are participating in it. 79 students from 18 universities in Uzbekistan are also among them.

The participants are demonstrating their knowledge of mathematics in individual and team competitions. The official languages of the Olympiad are Turkmen and English. Uzbekistan students won 7 gold, 15 silver, and 35 bronze medals in the individual and team stages.

Last year, participants from Uzbekistan took 4th place at this Olympiad, winning 5 silver and 13 bronze medals.
