Student-athletes from Uzbekistan showed decent results at the International Table Tennis Tournament within the framework of training camps held at the Xi'an Institute of Physical Education.

The team of the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports took the honorable second place in the championships, which were attended by students from 4 higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and the Chinese city of Xi'an.

In the singles competitions, Amirbek Matniyozov defeated all his rivals and became the gold medalist. At the same time, Mehriniso Norqulova won a bronze medal in the women’s championships.
