The Embassy of Uzbekistan in London organized an online meeting between Steven Altmann-Richer, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Polymateria, and the leadership of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change, as well as the Waste Management and Circular Economy Development Agency under the Ministry.

The British side highly valued Uzbekistan’s state policy on regulating the waste sector and the country’s efforts to develop a national strategy in this area.

Following the negotiations, an agreement was reached to establish close cooperation with Polymateria in priority areas related to the biodegradation of plastic products.
