Ambassador of Uzbekistan Jakhongir Ganiyev met with the President of the Congress of Deputies of Spain Meritxell Batet.

The Spanish side noted with satisfaction the progressive dynamics of dialogue and practical cooperation with Uzbekistan. According to Meritxell Batet, the Spanish parliament is interested in deepening political, economic, cultural-humanitarian cooperation, as well as the development of parliamentary diplomacy.

It was emphasized that taking into account the centuries-old history and traditions of trade and cultural ties dating back to the 15th century, Spain pays special attention to the development of bilateral relations with Uzbekistan.
