The Chairman of the Board of Uzkimyosanoat company, Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov, has held talks with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism of Spain, Xiana Méndez, in Madrid.

The parties discussed further prospects for cooperation with Spanish companies in the chemical industry of Uzbekistan, in particular with Maxam company, with which two enterprises for the production of mineral fertilizers Maxam-Chirchiq and Ammophos-Maxam companies have been established and are successfully operating.

Proposals of the parties on the agenda of the first meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission, scheduled for the second half of this year in Tashkent, were considered.
