Uzbekistan, South Korea intensify cooperation between law enforcement agencies

Employees of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Korea met with representatives of the Korean National Police Agency (KNPA) responsible for cooperation with Uzbekistan.
At the meeting, South Korean experts noted the positive dynamics in development of cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries. With the assistance of the diplomatic mission of Uzbekistan, in a short period of time, mutual visits of specialists from the two countries were organized, within which the parties exchanged experience in combating international crime and ensuring law and order.
In order to further intensify cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries, the South Korean side proposed to organize a videoconference with colleagues from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan to discuss priority areas for further interaction, as well as exchange experience in ensuring law and order in the context of the coronavirus pandemic.
