On September 9, specialists of the International Departments of the State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan and the Korean Customs Service held a meeting.

The negotiations were held with the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Korea via videoconference.

The parties agreed on a draft Memorandum of Cooperation and exchange of experience in the field of professional training between the State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan and the Korea Customs Service (KCS). The document is planned to be signed during the visit of the KCS Commissioner to Uzbekistan on September 13.

The high level of interaction between the customs authorities of the two countries was noted, and interest was expressed in further continuing to enhance collaboration.
