Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Ibrokhim Abdurakhmonov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Uzbekistan Kim Hee-sang.

According to the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the parties discussed the prospects for strengthening bilateral cooperation.

The sides noted the dynamic development in recent years of multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and South Korea in all areas, including higher and vocational education. The effective establishment of collaboration was noted.

An agreement was reached to further increase the exchange of students and teachers between higher education institutions, as well as to bring cooperation between the two countries in vocational education and training to a new level.
