Rector of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy Komiljon Karimov and Vice-Rector for International Relations, Professor Saidmukhtar Saidkasimov have held talks with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic, Jan Bory.

Issues of further expansion of cooperation in science and education with leading universities in Slovakia were discussed at the meeting.

Practical issues of establishing contacts with the University of Economics in Bratislava were also considered. The sides discussed the joint implementation of the double diplomas project with World Economy specialization.

The Ambassador of Slovakia provided information about the upcoming visit of a group of Slovak specialists to Uzbekistan, at the beginning of the next year, for the development of international tourism and their intention to hold a thematic conference at UWED.

An agreement was reached to organize a lecture by a high-ranking Slovak diplomat in UWED in February 2021.
