Uzbekistan, Singapore to implement a project in building materials manufacturing
The Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade held a meeting with Singapore’s Western International New Building Materials company’s leadership.
According to MIFT, Singapore investors plan to implement a project in building materials manufacturing in Uzbekistan.
The meeting was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Aziz Voitov and Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Adham Ikramov.
The parties discussed prospects for establishing investment activities of a Singapore company in manufacturing building materials in Uzbekistan. It was announced that the company is currently working on the possibility of implementing a project to organize the production of cement clinker.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to establish close cooperation to accelerate the promotion of the project and promptly resolve emerging issues.
