Singapore hosted an online presentation of the economic and investment potential of Uzbekistan for member companies of the Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SMCCI).

The event was attended by the First Deputy Chairman of the Uzyogmoysanoat Association Kamar Serkayev, directors of the relevant departments of the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry from the Uzbek side.

The Singapore side was represented by SMCCI President Farid Khan and representatives of over 60 member companies. The multilateral meeting was also attended by heads of Singapore companies based in Canada.

The participants of the event got acquainted with the investment and tourism potential of Uzbekistan, the opportunities for cooperation between small and medium-sized enterprises in the two countries.
