On February 21, on behalf of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, humanitarian aid was sent to Syria for the population affected by the earthquake.

About 50 tons of humanitarian aid were sent, including clothes for children and adults, household appliances, canned food, dried fruits, semi-finished products, children’s cereals, blankets and pillows, and hygiene kits.

The necessary means and products for life in the form of humanitarian aid will be delivered by plane from Uzbekistan to Syria by responsible officials of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Transport.
