Uzbekistan scientists create a drug to treat coronavirus
The Ministry of Innovative Development donated 20 thousand packages of Rutan drug, developed at China – Uzbekistan Medical Technopark, to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
On June 9, the Ministry of Innovative Development donated 20 thousand packages of Rutan drug, developed at China – Uzbekistan Medical Technopark, to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
As a result of studies conducted by Chinese scientists, it was revealed that the anti-influenza drug Rutan, created by scientists from the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, reduces the impact of the SARS CoV-2 influenza virus by 78.3 percent.
Production of Rutan as a finished drug was carried out in China – Uzbekistan Medical Technopark that meets the requirements of GMP. 11 thousand packages of Rutan were sent to Iran as humanitarian aid in the fight against coronavirus.
