Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan Kakhramon Yuldashev and Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of Veterinary and Livestock Development Sirojiddin Berdikulov met with Vice Ministers of Environment, Water and Agriculture of Saudi Arabia Mansour bin Hilal Al Mushaiti and Suleiman Al-Khatib, in Riyadh.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan, the parties discussed issues of cooperation in agriculture, including the prospects for enhancing mutual trade in agricultural products.

At the meeting, the importance and readiness to sign memorandums of cooperation in agriculture, veterinary medicine and livestock development were emphasized. An agreement was reached to deepen cooperation in the agricultural sector to enhance trade in agricultural, livestock and other products between the countries.

The parties agreed that after the signing of the memorandums, action plans will be prepared, including specific measures and areas for the development of cooperation and joint projects.

The Saudi side invited Uzbekistan delegation to attend the largest exhibition of the agro-industrial complex, which will be held at the end of October in the city of Riyadh.
