On February 24, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Furkat Siddikov held talks with Deputy Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia Waleed Al-Khuraiji, via videoconference.

The parties discussed the state and prospects for the development of cooperation.

The commitment of Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia to further strengthen partnership in the political, trade-economic, investment and cultural-humanitarian spheres for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries was expressed.

Issues of interaction within the framework of international organizations, primarily the UN and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, were also discussed.

The parties agreed on the schedule of the upcoming meetings and events.
