First Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Akmal Saidov met with members of the delegation led by the Chairman of the Uzbekistan – Saudi Arabia Interparliamentary Friendship Group Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Jarba.

At the meeting, issues of enhancing inter-parliamentary cooperation were discussed, in particular, intensifying the activities of friendship groups, continuing the exchange of visits, holding Uzbek Culture Days in the cities of Riyadh and Jeddah, and strengthening cooperation in tourism, information, and communication technologies.

In turn, the Chairman of the Uzbekistan – Saudi Arabia Interparliamentary Friendship Group expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and noted the balanced, open, and constructive foreign policy carried out under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in recent years, large-scale reforms and their results.
