The delegation of Saudi Arabia includes more than 20 representatives of companies operating in the sphere of agriculture and food, textiles, mineral resources, construction, electronics.

Within the framework of the visit, Uzbekistan – Saudi Arabia business forum kicked off in Tashkent.

At the forum, the business community of the two countries will discuss issues of the economy, strengthening and expanding cooperation, implementation of investment projects.

Earlier, in December, the delegation of Uzbekistan held negotiations in Saudi Arabia with the Governor of the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority Ibrahim Al Omar, the Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of the Saudi Fund for Development Yousef bin Ibrahim Al-Bassam. At these meetings, prospects for development of cooperation in trade-economic and investment spheres were discussed.
