As previously reported, Kazakhstan’s Aktau hosts Asian Sambo Championships. Almost 200 sambists from 14 countries of the continent took part in the tournament.

Uzbekistan athletes won 2 bronze medals on the first day of the competition, and by the end of the competition they won 4 more medals. Shakhzoda Ozodova, Oybek Soliyev won silver, Charoskhon Ozodova, Zakhriddin Zoitov – bronze medals.

Thus, Uzbekistan national team won 4 silver and 6 bronze medals.

Rustam Odilov, Murodkhan Turayev and Olim Odilov were recognized as the best judges supervising the matches of the Asian Championships.
