This was announced at the international conference on “Universities and international rating: strategy development”, which began on January 14 at Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers.
Since last year, Uzbekistan has established active cooperation with QS. It provides for the recognition of Uzbekistan universities in world rankings.
Deputy Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan Uzokboy Begimkulov announced this at the opening of the international conference with participation of senior officials, international experts, representatives of higher education institutions of Tashkent.
At the conference, Regional Director for Eastern Europe and Central Asia Zoya Zaitseva introduced the participants with necessary information on meeting the requirements of the world rating.
Within the framework of the conference, which will last until January 16, it is planned to hold a meeting of international experts with representatives of higher education institutions of the city of Samarkand.
