International tourism exhibition “Thai International Travel Fair” was held in Bangkok, Thailand.

This exhibition is one of the largest in scale and in number of participants of the international events in tourism sphere. This year, it was attended by representatives of more than 1200 leading companies, and the exhibition was visited by more than 400 thousand people.

The aim of the international exhibition is to develop tourism industry in the world, familiarize with new routes of domestic and foreign tourism.

The exhibition, which covered many areas of tourism industry, demonstrated promising projects for coordination of airline services, activities of tourism companies, support and promotion of active tourism.

According to “Uzbekistan Airways” national air company, Uzbekistan Airways and a number of domestic tourism companies demonstrated their services at the exhibition. Participants of the fair got acquainted with activities of the national air carrier, offered tours in Uzbekistan.

The competition "What do you know about Uzbekistan?" aroused great interest among visitors. It was held in order to promote domestic tourist brand, bring Uzbekistan’s tourism services to the world market. Two active participants of the competition were awarded with air tickets for Bangkok – Tashkent – Bangkok flight.

During the exhibition, representatives of Uzbekistan Airways and a number of international tourism companies held negotiations on the issues of strengthening cooperation in the sphere of tourism.
