At the event, organized jointly by the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republican Interdepartmental Anti-Corruption Commission, the United Nations Development Program, the UN Office on Drugs and Crime, as well as the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, it was noted that activities carried out in society on combating offenses and crimes is important in ensuring the well-being of the population.

Experts provided information on international standards for countering corruption, peculiar aspects of implementation of the norms of the UN Convention against Corruption in national legislation and in practice.

At the forum, activities on combating and preventing corruption were analyzed, methodological presentations aimed at improving the knowledge and experience of participants in this sphere were held.
