Uzbekistan’s industrial production grows
According to preliminary data, in January-November 2018, enterprises of Uzbekistan produced industrial products worth 198.8 trillion UZS, the growth rate over the same period last year amounted to 112.0%.
According to preliminary data, in January-November 2018, enterprises of Uzbekistan produced industrial products worth 198.8 trillion UZS, the growth rate over the same period last year amounted to 112.0%.
According to the State Statistics Committee, the main factor of growth in total industrial production was an increase in manufacturing industry by 10.0%, mining and quarrying – by 26.8%, electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning – by 3.4%, water supply, sewage, waste collection and disposal – by 20.5%.
The dynamic development of industrial activity of small business ensured the growth of industrial production by the corresponding period of last year by 7.5%, while the share of small business in industry amounted to 34.9%.
