Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to the Philippines meets with ADB President

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of the Philippines (with residence in Beijing) Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Takehiko Nakao at ADB Headquarters in Manila.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of the Philippines (with residence in Beijing) Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Takehiko Nakao at ADB Headquarters in Manila.

Takehiko Nakao highly appreciated the achieved level of cooperation between Uzbekistan and ADB.

The parties emphasized mutual interest in further expanding cooperation within the framework of implementation of socio-economic reforms initiated by President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in accordance with the new Country Partnership Strategy (CPS) for 2019-2023, approved on June 25 this year.

Issues of promoting priority transport and communication projects in Central Asia, including construction of China – Kyrgyzstan – Uzbekistan railway and its importance in ensuring sustainable development in the region, were discussed.
