“This film is the first joint co-production, a symbolic swallow of the cinema of New Uzbekistan. In November 2019, in Moscow, we signed several memorandums on the creation of joint films, and the “Taste of the Sun” is the first film in a series of future film projects. The film was released in Russian, now dubbed into Uzbek. As part of the Youth Day celebration, we are organizing a big premiere. It is also very symbolic, because the “Taste of the Sun” is the first children’s film, and the premiere will take place during the summer holidays”, Firdavs Abdukhalikov, Director General of Uzbekistan Cinematography Agency, producer of the film said.

“Cooperation with Uzbekistan Cinematography Agency turned out to be very pleasant. We are delighted. I wish that all projects, all producers always have such partners. Colleagues from Uzbekistan helped us a lot. This is a true collaboration, a joint work created on equal creativity. It seems to me that this is the guarantee that the film turned out the way it is”, Alexander Kessel, producer of the film said.
