A Memorandum of Understanding on the development of nuclear infrastructure was signed between the Agency for the Development of Nuclear Energy under the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan, Rosenergoatom JSC and Autonomous Nonprofit Organization of Additional Vocational Education (ANO) Rosatom Technical Academy.

The parties spoke about the importance of this document in strengthening cooperation in the way of development of the sphere.

The Memorandum was signed by the Director General of Uzatom Agency Jurabek Mirzamahmudov, Director General of Rosenergoatom JSC Andrey Petrov and Rector of Rosatom Technical Academy Yuri Seleznev.

Cooperation will provide Uzbekistan with the opportunity to receive expert assistance from Rosatom Technical Academy in training specialists for all stages of the country's nuclear program.

The Memorandum also provides for the participation of specialists from Uzbekistan in the joint activities of Rosatom Technical Academy and IAEA.
