The working visit to Russia of a delegation consisting of officials of the Namangan Regional Hokimiyat, heads of enterprises and representatives of the business community, led by the Hokim of Namangan region Shavkat Abdurazzokov, served to further strengthen bilateral friendly ties.

During the visit, the Hokim held fruitful negotiations with the Director General of the pharmaceutical company Medsintez, Alexander Petrov, in the city of Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk region. The discussions led to preliminary agreements on the localization of medicine and insulin production in the Kosonsoy-Pharm Free Economic Zone, and the establishment of production facilities. 

During the meeting with the Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region, Yevgeny Kuyvashev, a wide range of topics were discussed, including proposals for cooperation in vocational education, tourism, pharmaceuticals, and construction. The parties also agreed that large manufacturing enterprises of Namangan region will participate in the Innoprom forum, scheduled for July this year in Yekaterinburg. 

In Moscow, the delegation of Namangan region met with Nikolay Breslavets, the Founder and Director General of the Legor Group Russia, which occupies a special place in the global jewelry market. The issues of creating a jewelry school and developing the industry in Namangan were discussed. 

Issues of further strengthening ties, completing the “Pectin Production” project in Chust district and implementing new projects in Chartak district were discussed with the President of Siberian Wellness-Namangan LLC, Tatyana Gorokhovskaya.
