The First Interregional Cooperation Forum between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan, organized jointly with a number of ministries and organizations of the Russian Federation takes place in Tashkent on October 18-20.

The First Interregional Cooperation Forum between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan, organized jointly with a number of ministries and organizations of the Russian Federation takes place in Tashkent on October 18-20. The goal of holding the event is to expand and deepen mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.

Prospects for trade-economic cooperation between the two countries, an analysis of the export potential of the regions, prospects for development of free economic zones established in Uzbekistan, as well as possibility of legal support for exporters from the government of Uzbekistan and Russia will be discussed at the forum.

Uzbekistan – Russia Interregional Cooperation Forum kicks off in Tashkent

The program of the forum includes panel sessions in various areas, in particular, presentations of Russian companies in the sphere of transport and information technologies, energy and mechanical engineering, textile industry, a meeting of Uzbekistan – Russia Business Council, a workshop on “Agro-industrial complex: points of growth for cooperation development”, an exhibition on “Perspective areas of cooperation between the regions of Russia and Uzbekistan” at Uzexpocentre, B2B meetings.

Today the Panel session on “New stage of Uzbekistan – Russia interregional cooperation: projects and clusters” started its work. Tomorrow it is expected to hold the Plenary meeting of Uzbekistan – Russia First Interregional Cooperation Forum with participation of the leaders of the two countries.
