On 27 January, a meeting of representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and Russian pharmaceutical companies with the heads of relevant ministries and agencies of Uzbekistan took place.

A wide range of practical aspects of cooperation, in particular, the rules and procedures for the procurement and use of medicines, medical equipment and other medical products in medical institutions of Uzbekistan were discussed at the meeting.

The parties considered specific proposals developed to attract Russian companies to the implementation of joint projects, and provided detailed information on the specialized investment and production sites created in the country.

The delegation will continue to work on establishing direct contacts with Uzbekistan entrepreneurs, identifying specific project proposals for the subsequent development of mechanisms for cooperation with pharmaceutical companies of Uzbekistan.
