Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino hosted a meeting with a delegation of the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University led by the Rector of the university Alexander Fedorov.

Agreements were signed on the opening of joint educational programs in bachelor’s programs in general medicine, dentistry and pharmacy. The parties discussed issues of organization of scientific and practical events, research work, academic exchange of professors and students.

The guests got acquainted with the new building of Bukhara State Medical Institute, a simulation center organized here, a clinic and a student hostel. They highly appreciated the future opportunities of the institute and noted that the issues of cooperation would be mutually beneficial.

Bukhara State Medical Institute is the leader among the country’s higher education institutions in terms of international cooperation. The Institute has signed almost 50 memorandums and agreements with international organizations.
