Vladivostok hosts the 4th Uzbekistan – Russia Educational Forum.
The two-day event is attended by heads of universities, representatives of relevant departments, scientific and educational institutions of the two countries. The forum program includes a plenary session and 6 thematic sections devoted to personnel training, introducing new technologies in education and healthcare, digitalization, and using artificial intelligence in the educational process.
As part of the event, cooperation agreements were signed between Far Eastern Federal University and Bukhara State University, the Russian Academy of Education, the Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami, and the Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training of Personnel in the Higher Education System under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology and the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The 6th meeting of the subcommittee on science and education of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation of the two countries was also held. It was co-chaired by the First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan Shahrukh Daliyev and the Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia Konstantin Mogilevsky.
At the meeting, the parties discussed creating joint engineering schools, developing branches of Russian universities in Uzbekistan, and other scientific and educational interaction areas.
