Uzbekistan is implementing large-scale work to strengthen cooperation with foreign higher education and medical institutions.

Leading traumatologist-orthopedist from Russia, Professor A. Bagirov arrived in Bukhara region.

“In spring, the patient was admitted to the hospital with a diagnosis of imperfect osteogenesis, with a closed fracture of the right femur”, says traumatologist of the Pediatric Traumatology Department of Bukhara branch of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care Bobir Muhammedov. “He underwent surgery abroad under the guidance of Russian professor Akshin Bagirov to eliminate the injury in the musculoskeletal system”.

The patient was given a temporary metal stand to restore the femur, which had already been removed. His condition is stable. A. Bagirov is visiting the region to get acquainted with the branch’s work methods.
