Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Sardor Umurzakov has met with Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexey Overchuk, in Moscow.
According to the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade, the parties exchanged views on key issues of bilateral trade, economic, investment, industrial, cultural and humanitarian cooperation. The high dynamics of the development of cooperation and the consistent strengthening of the strategic partnership between the two countries were emphasized.
At the meeting, the prospects and progress of joint work to enhance cooperation in trade, economic and investment spheres were considered. The mutual commitment was expressed to implement joint practical measures to increase trade between the two countries.
The main attention was paid to the development of investment cooperation. An agreement was reached to continue close cooperation at the level of relevant ministries and agencies of the two countries to accelerate the practical implementation of the agreed projects, as well as to attract technical assistance from Russia for the implementation of projects aimed at reforming the tax and cadastral system of Uzbekistan.
