Meetings, business forums and other events are being held within the framework of the Innoprom International Industrial Exhibition. One of them is the Fifth Meeting of Uzbekistan – Russia Business Council.

The event was attended by businesspeople of the two countries, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Co-chairman of Uzbekistan – Russia Business Council Adham Ikramov, Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation Dmitry Kurochkin, Chairman of Russia – Uzbekistan Business Council, President of the South Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry Fyodor Degtyarev and others.

At the event, special attention was paid to the further development of trade-economic and investment cooperation between the two countries and the creation of an open dialogue platform to strengthen cooperation between the entrepreneurs. They shared achievements and plans for the future, demonstrated their products and services, and exchanged views on the advantages and priority areas of cooperation.

Dialogues were held between entrepreneurs working in agriculture, construction, tourism, logistics, services and textile production, agreements were signed.

Uzbekistan – Russia and Russia – Uzbekistan Business Councils signed an Action Plan for the implementation of the Cooperation Memorandum for 2021.
