Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fazilov met with the Ambassador of Romania to Uzbekistan Daniel Christian Ciobanu.

It was emphasized that Uzbekistan considers Romania as an important and promising partner in Eastern Europe. Both states have a huge potential for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation, both in a bilateral format and within the framework of international organizations.

In this context, issues of intensifying and enhancing partnership in the political, economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres were discussed. Mutual interest in strengthening the dialogue between parliaments, ministries and agencies, as well as business circles of the two countries, was noted.
