“Antakya turned into ruins as a result of the earthquake. My father and aunt remain under the rubble. I am 32 years old. For many years we lived side by side with Uzbek brothers. I went to college with them. I did not expect that we would also be together on these difficult days. They, depriving themselves of sleep, came to help us. They are taking care of us just like family. I express my gratitude to Uzbekistan people and the rescuers who are providing us great support”, says Turkish citizen Işıl, who survived the tragedy.
