Minsk hosted the Second International Forum “Healthy and Active Longevity”.

Representatives from CIS countries, as well as South Korea, the Philippines, and other countries, international organizations, academia, non-governmental and non-profit organizations, and the general public attended the event.

The delegation of the National Agency for Social Protection also participated in this forum, which provided information on the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan aimed at enhancing social protection for older people and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their well-being, and improving the quality of life, as well as the results of these efforts.

The participants discussed international best practices and innovative solutions to protect the health of the elderly, improve long-term care, prevent dementia, maintain a healthy lifestyle, and improve the quality of social services.

Agreements have been reached on the implementation of joint projects and the expansion of international cooperation in the direction of healthy and active longevity.
