The Second Global Disability Summit kicked off on February 16.

The event is organized by the Governments of Norway and Ghana, International Disability Alliance.

It is attended by leaders of states, heads of international organizations, representatives of relevant ministries and agencies, private sector, civil society activists.

The First Vice-Speaker of Uzbekistan Parliament Akmal Saidov addressed the event. The participants are discussing the prospects for implementing the requirements of inclusive development, which contribute to improving the lives of people with disabilities.

Due to the pandemic, the two-day summit is being held in an online format.
