The neighboring countries became the most popular destinations for Russian tourists for the winter holidays this season.

Analysts studied flights booked between December 1, 2021, and March 1, 2022. Only round-trip tickets with a minimum trip duration of 21 days were considered.

According to tutu.ru statistics, before the pandemic, most Russians preferred to fly to Thailand for the winter. Now the situation has changed.

18.7% of travelers chose Kyrgyzstan, 12.4% Uzbekistan and 10.1% Armenia.
