Uzbekistan ranks 7th in terms of housing provision for the population
According to the Statistics Agency, Uzbekistan ranks 7th among the CIS countries regarding housing provision for the population.
As of January 1 this year, the country’s population has an average of 18.5 square meters of housing per resident.
This figure increased by 0.3 square meters compared to the corresponding period in 2022.
As of January 1, 2023, the level of housing provision for the population of the CIS countries:
Armenia – 35.5 sq. m, Moldova – 35.3 sq. m, Belarus – 29.4 sq. m, Russia – 28.2 sq. m, Kazakhstan – 23.4 sq. m, Azerbaijan – 20.1 sq. m, Uzbekistan – 18.5 sq. m, Kyrgyzstan – 13 sq. m, Tajikistan – 10.9 sq. m.
