Uzbekistan Railways to buy 10 more wagons for subway line

According to Uzbekistan Railways, in August last year, construction work was completed at Dustlik-2 and Okhangaron stations on Dustlik – Kuylyuk section of Tashkent metro line.

According to Uzbekistan Railways, in August last year, construction work was completed at Dustlik-2 and Okhangaron stations on Dustlik – Kuylyuk section of Tashkent metro line, where the first rail and tie rails were laid, and the first trains started moving in test mode without passengers.

According to the deputy head of the Capital Construction Directorate of Uzbekistan Railways Aziz Abdiyev, the distance from Dustlik-2 station to Kuylyuk market is 11 kilometers. Seven stations will be built on this site according to the project.

Modern Russian trains will run along the new line for the convenience of passengers. They have already arrived in Tashkent at the end of September last year. In 2020-2021, Uzbekistan Railways is going to buy another 10 wagons.
