Several leading Qatari media outlets, including Al Watan and Al Sharq, covered the solemn event dedicated to the 34th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s independence, organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Qatar.

The event was attended by officials from the Qatari Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Library, the Department of Protocol, as well as ambassadors of several states and representatives of diplomatic missions.

As noted in the article, Ambassador of Uzbekistan Ashraf Khodjayev emphasized that bilateral relations are developing rapidly.

In 2023, three high-level visits took place. In 2024, a Strategic Partnership Agreement was signed. In August of this year, the first meeting of the Coordination Council at the level of foreign ministers was held.

The launch of direct flights between Tashkent and Doha by Qatar Airways will contribute to the development of tourism, the expansion of trade, the strengthening of economic ties, and the deepening of dialogue between the two friendly nations.
