A delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan consisting of employees of human rights bodies, the leadership, and senior officials of the Anti-Corruption Agency visits Qatar.

The Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency, Akmal Burkhanov, met with the President of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority of the State of Qatar, Hamad bin Nasser Al-Misnad.

At the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed, which included an Action Plan for 2024-2026.

The plan includes an assessment by the parties of corruption risks, ensuring the openness of the activities of government agencies, and sharing experience in implementing UN anti-corruption standards into practice.

Following the talks, an agreement was reached to intensify work in the discussed areas of cooperation.
