The Meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the SCO Member States, chaired by the Indian side, is being held via videoconference.

Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov is taking part in the meeting.

In accordance with the agreed agenda, the heads of government plan to discuss issues of overcoming the economic consequences of the new coronavirus infection, digitalizing the economies of the SCO member states, deepening cooperation in trade, economic and investment spheres, expanding the practice of mutual settlements in national currencies.

It is planned to exchange views on the implementation of the Action Plan for 2012-2025 for the implementation of the Program of Multilateral Trade and Economic Cooperation 2035 and on the Concept of Cooperation on Development of Remote and Rural Areas in the Digital Age.

Participants of the meeting will also consider the activities of the SCO Business Council and the Interbank Consortium.

A Joint Communiqué will be adopted following the meeting.
