Olympia London hosted the Destinations: The Holiday & Travel Show 2023.

According to the uzbektourism.uz portal, Sophie Ibbotson, the Tourism Brand Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the UK, took an active part in the exhibition. She organized meetings with British tour operators, travel organizations and tourism media, promoting the rich tourism potential, culture, history and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan.

The recent reforms in tourism, existing opportunities, simplified visa issues, air travel, new tourist facilities, in particular, the initiative “Samarkand – the Tourist Gate of New Uzbekistan” and information on tourist areas were of great interest to European tourists.

Such UK companies involved in sending tourists to Uzbekistan as Audley Travel, Cox & Kings, Exodus, Explore, G-Adventures, Intrepid, Jules Vernes, Regent Holidays, Steppes Travel, Titan Travel, TransIndus, Travel the Unknown, Trotting Soles, Wendy Wu Tours, Wild Frontiers, Yellowwood Adventures and other major travel organizations also took part in the exhibition

An exhibition of tourist guides “My Uzbekistan” and “Karakalpakstan” was held under the stand of the British publishing house “Bradt Guides”.
