The Uzbekistan – Kuwait Business Forum and the “Made in Uzbekistan” exhibition were held at the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The events were attended by representatives of Uzbekistan, including Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov, Deputy Governors of Fergana and Samarkand regions, and about 30 Uzbekistan entrepreneurs who presented the country’s products and investment projects. On the Kuwaiti side, approximately 100 businessmen, investors, and representatives of import companies attended the event.

Special attention was paid to Uzbekistan’s investment potential. During the forum, information was presented on major investment projects planned for implementation across the country.

An equally important part of the event was the B2B meetings between Uzbekistan and Kuwaiti business representatives, during which prospects for bilateral cooperation were discussed. As a result of the discussions, it was decided to continue negotiations in the most promising areas of economic interaction.

More than 50 Uzbekistan companies participated in the “Made in Uzbekistan” exhibition, presenting products well-known in international markets. The exhibits included dried fruits, spices, medicinal herbs, saffron, textiles, confectionery products, honey, and halva. These products were prominently showcased at the stands and attracted the attention of Kuwaiti business representatives interested in importing and further distributing them in the Gulf countries.
