Austria’s Vienna hosted Uzbekistan’s agricultural products exhibition.
The event was organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan, together with the Hilfswerk International (HWI) and the diplomatic missions of the Central Asian countries in Austria.
The main goals of the event were to demonstrate the agricultural, export and tourism potential of Uzbekistan, familiarize Austrian entrepreneurs with the Made in Uzbekistan brand, develop trade and economic cooperation between the countries, as well as establish direct contacts between Uzbekistan and Austrian businesspeople.

Uzbekistan presented the most popular agricultural products on the EU market. Various varieties of raisins, nuts, apricots, dried apricots, dried apples, mulberries, cucumbers, beets, carrots, as well as dried and fresh melons grown in Khorezm and Syrdarya regions were presented.

The exhibition was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, international organizations accredited in Vienna, businesspeople, as well as representatives of leading Austrian importing companies and retail chains, such as Rewe Group, Billa, Spar Group, Metro and others.
