Uzbekistan participates in the 62nd Munich Security Conference

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, took part in the 62nd Munich Security Conference, which brought together representatives from various regions of the world to discuss key issues in international and regional security.

As the Uzbek FM noted, Central Asia today is a notable example of how countries in a single region can resolve their issues peacefully for the sake of prosperity for all and unite and strengthen themselves in addressing emerging challenges.

Within the framework of the conference, the Uzbekistan delegation held several meetings and exchanged views on current bilateral, regional, and global issues. According to the minister, negotiations were held with colleagues from Georgia, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the United States, the European Union, and other countries, during which the outcomes of the agreements were summarized, and priority areas for further cooperation were outlined.
